X*ACT is back and running full speed! We just completed one of our most ambitious and artistically satisfying seasons, beginning the comedic romp SYLVIA, through the intense drama RABBIT HOLE and on to A CHRISTMAS CAROL – a classic radio version written by Orson Welles. The second half of our season saw the return of favorite THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABDRIDGED) before closing out with two thought provoking historical dramas that were also area premieres – THESE SHINING LIVES and MAY 4 VOICES.
Our 2022-23 season is just as varied. We start with the fantasy story SHE KILLS MONSTER – a perfect show to bring that teenager in your family who you want to introduce to live theater. Then we return to an X*ACT tradition of a classic horror story with THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE for Halloween. TUNA CHRISTMAS will get your holidays started with a load of laughs. After the holidays we have the classic British comedy ARE YOU BEING SERVED and then yet another comedy (hey, you said you wanted comedies!) END DAYS. We finish the season with a new adaptation of the great American classic THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER. And yeah, that’s kind of a comedy too.
Show times are 7pm Friday and Saturday, 3pm on Sundays. All performances are at the X*ACT Theater.
